Who we are !!

Na’ar Youth Swagger is an international youth conference

hosted annually in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. Since its inception, it has become a signature gathering for young people across the globe—uniting hearts through worship, cultural expression, and the Word of God.

Our Mission
To create a welcoming space where young people can gather, grow, and encounter God personally—free from religious pressure—allowing Him to transform lives in an authentic and lasting way.

Our Vision
To see a generation empowered by real encounters with God, rising in faith, purpose, and identity—led not by formality, but by the presence and power of the Changer Himself.

Our Story

The Movement Called Youth Swagger
Na’ar Youth Swagger was birthed from a deep burden to see young people delivered from the grip of violence, cultism, and self-destructive vices—especially those rampant in schools and universities.

This journey began In September 2011,
Faced with the reality of a generation being lost to negative influences, a desire arose to create a positive “distraction”—a platform where young people could experience purpose, community, creativity, and most importantly, the power of God.

That burden was shared with Pastor Lawrence, and together, they answered the call. The first edition of Youth Swagger was held at the Cultural Center Complex, Calabar—and the seed of a vision was planted.
What none of us could foresee was the magnitude of what God had in store. The early years were marked by worship, drama, music, and teachings that ministered deeply to the hearts of young people. It became clear that Youth Swagger was not just an event—it was a divine movement.

For over a decade, the event held annually at the Cultural Center, growing in reach and influence. Then came a new phase. Around 2020–2021, Pastor Lawrence began to speak prophetically about a shift—a move to U.J. Esuene Stadium. The timing wasn’t immediate, but when 2023 came, the 12th season of Youth Swagger finally broke into a new dimension: The Festival.
That year, over 14,000 worshipers gathered at the stadium. The atmosphere was electric, as voices from around the world were raised in passionate worship of Yahweh. This marked a new era. And from there, God has continued to do more than we could ever imagine.

The Convener of Naar Youthswagger | Pastor Lawrence Agbata

Pastor Abata Lawrence is the Lead Pastor of Grace Consulate, a ministry with a distinct calling to reach and empower young people. With over two decades of dedicated pastoral and community service, he has built a lasting legacy of hope, transformation, and leadership that continues to impact lives and communities far beyond the church walls.

Recognizing a growing influx of youth in his congregation, Pastor Lawrence sought divine clarity and discovered his unique assignment: to create a space where young people can encounter God authentically—free from religious formality.

With a deep understanding that younger generations are not primarily drawn to traditional expressions of faith like miracles or healing, but are instead searching for meaning and joy in life, Pastor Lawrence has dedicated his ministry to facilitating genuine encounters with God.

His approach is simple yet powerful—bring them together, step aside, and allow the Changer to do His work.

Through this vision, he continues to inspire a generation to find faith on their own terms, in an environment that feels real, relevant, and deeply transformative.

MISSION 525

Mission 525 represents the mandate to be used by GOD ALMIGHTY, OUR FATHER, to raise a generation of incredible worshippers whose worship, wondrous shouts, and celebrative tears of joy will resonate and reverberate through time and eternity just as the children of Israel sang and danced after the miraculous crossing of the Red Sea in the days of Moses.

Our mission is expressed in three prophetic dimensions:

5; To gather five million worshippers online, lifting up one sound of worship across the internet on Friday, April 3, 2026.

2; To assemble two hundred thousand worshippers physically at the main venue and overflow spaces on Friday, April 3, 2026.

5; To host five hundred thousand worshippers physically in the 2027 edition.

Hallelujah!

“Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy mountain! Let all who dwell in the land tremble, for the Day of the Lord is coming; indeed, it is near” Joel 2:1.

We are a people of signs and wonders, through the Grace of JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR.
